Mindfulness Meditation Practice Groups

Enhance your journey

Over the course of my 20 years as a Mental Health Therapist, I have found that the people I work with get better faster and have a greater sense of ease and acceptance about themselves and their patterns if they have interest in developing a mindfulness practice.

What is mindfulness?

In a nutshell, mindfulness is the act of waking up in the moment.

In a broad sense, you can practice mindfulness in many ways, such as noticing the sound of the birds while on a nature walk, inhaling the aroma of your shampoo in the shower, or luxuriating in the heat of the water.

Why with me?

Admittedly, there are many practice groups and classes already in the Portland area.

However, I offer these practice groups to current and past clients at a discounted rate so that I can teach you the skills and practices most helpful if you’re experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma-reactivity.

And we can work in a setting that we control – one not restricted or classified by any particular religious affiliation.

I keep the group small with the focus on practice, not on overly verbal processing of the experience.

I synthesize over 25 years of my own daily practice and the wisdom of my own teachers for you.

In addition, you don’t have to make a commitment – even attending one session may give you the confidence and encouragement to start your own solo practice.

That’s my ultimate hope for you in your process of coming home to yourself as you are.
